    Schedules of the archaeological site

    From April 1st to October 31st: 9am to 7:30 pm (last admission at 6pm)
    From November 1st to March 31st: 9am to 5pm (last admission at 3:30 pm)
    Closures: January 1st, May 1st, December 25th


    Tickets can be purchased at the ticket counter at the entrance of the site or at the online ticketing service.
    Full price (valid for 1 day): 13,00 €; Reduced price: € 7.50

    Booking for school groups
    For schools in EU countries, the reservation must be made at least 10 days before the date of the visit, at the numbers:

    The reservation, compulsory for schools, costs 10 € per group (maximum of 50 students).
    For educational tours, inquire at previous numbers.
    Call center open from Monday to Saturday, from 9h to 13h30 and from 14h30 to 17h
    For school groups that come to the counters without reservations, the rates applied will be individual rates.

    Access to the archaeological site

    There are three entries
     – “Porta Marina” (Via Villa dei Misteri)
     – “Piazza Esedra” (Piazza Porta Marina Inferiore)
     – “Square of the Amphitheatre” (Piazza Immacolata)

    Arrival by train
     – Entry at Porta Marina and Piazza Esedra : Circumvesuviana Naples-Sorrento (stop Pompeii Villa dei Misteri)
     – Entry Piazza Anfiteatro : Circumvesuviana Napoli-Poggiomarino (stop Pompei Santuario), or FS Napoli – Salerno (stop Pompeii)

    By bus
    Company SITA from Naples or from Salerno
    CSTP n.4 from Salerno
    CSTP n.50 from Salerno (express by motorway)

    By car
    A3 Napoli-Salerno (exit Pompeii west)
